Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 14, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Saneter, operating as a sole proprietor (“Saneter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and dashboard. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to store information, such as a session identifier or a security challenge result. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, improve security, and remember preferences.
Cookies are commonly classified as strictly necessary, functional, analytics, or advertising / marketing. The first category is required to operate a website securely; the others are typically optional and, in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, generally require your prior consent.
2. Our Approach: Strictly Necessary Cookies Only
At this time, our website and dashboard use only strictly necessary cookies. We do not currently use:
- Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo).
- Session-replay or behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, FullStory).
- Advertising or retargeting cookies (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel).
- Social media tracking pixels.
- Cross-site tracking technologies.
Under Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in EU and UK national law), strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the requirement of prior user consent because they are essential to provide a service you have explicitly requested (such as visiting our website or logging in to your account). For this reason, we do not currently display a cookie consent banner.
3. Cookies We Use
The strictly necessary cookies set on our domains are described below.
3.1 Cloudflare security cookies
Our website and dashboard are protected by Cloudflare, which sets a small number of security cookies to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated bots and to maintain security challenge state.
__cf_bm— Cloudflare Bot Management cookie used to distinguish humans from bots. Typically expires within 30 minutes of the last request. Set bycloudflare.com.cf_clearance— Cloudflare security cookie that records the result of a security challenge (such as a CAPTCHA), so that legitimate visitors are not repeatedly challenged. Typically valid for up to 30 days. Set bycloudflare.com.
These cookies are essential for protecting the Service against attacks (including DDoS, credential stuffing, and abuse) and cannot be disabled without significantly degrading security and access.
3.2 Session cookies (when available)
When you sign in to your Saneter dashboard, we may set a first-party session cookie to keep you logged in for the duration of your session and to protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). Session cookies are essential to the operation of the authenticated dashboard.
4. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most modern browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies at a per-site level or globally. Documentation is typically available in your browser’s help center (for example, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly, including the security challenge layer and the dashboard sign-in.
5. Future Changes — If We Add Analytics or Marketing Tools
If, in the future, we decide to introduce analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, we will:
- Update this Cookie Policy to describe the new categories and specific cookies in use.
- Where required by applicable law (including for visitors in the EEA and the UK), display a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies before they are set.
- Continue to set strictly necessary cookies without prior consent, as permitted by Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive and equivalent provisions.
6. Third-Party Websites
When you use our proxy services to access third-party websites, those websites may set their own cookies on your device. We do not control those cookies and recommend reviewing the cookie and privacy policies of any website you visit.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
