How can we help?

General

Why does one particular website not work through the proxy while other websites work normally?

SANETER Help Center

SANETER does not intentionally restrict access to specific websites as part of the normal proxy service.

If the proxy works normally with most websites but a particular website cannot be accessed or does not function correctly, the issue is more likely related to that website’s own network, security, or environment requirements rather than a restriction applied by SANETER.

Some websites use stricter risk-control systems and may evaluate multiple factors in addition to the proxy IP, such as your browser environment, device information, DNS configuration, connection consistency, cookies, or whether all relevant traffic is actually being routed through the proxy.

For example, if only part of your network traffic is using the proxy while other requests are still using your local connection, the website may detect an inconsistent environment and reject or limit the session.

Therefore, being unable to use one specific website does not automatically mean that the proxy itself is blocked or restricted by SANETER.

If most other websites are working normally, we recommend checking your local proxy configuration, browser environment, and whether your application is routing the required traffic correctly. Please also keep in mind that SANETER cannot guarantee compatibility with every third-party website or its individual risk-control policies.
